Description: Workshop Agenda: Ocean-Themed Resin Tray (2 Hours)

Welcome & Introduction (15 mins)
• Greet participants and introduce the workshop theme
• Brief overview of resin art and safety precautions
• Display sample finished tray for inspiration

Design Planning & Sketching (30 mins)
• Discuss oceanic design elements (waves, sand, shells, marine animals)
• Participants sketch their layout ideas on paper
• Choose tray mold shape (circle, rectangle, etc.)

Materials & Techniques Tutorial (45 mins)
• Overview of tools and supplies:
- Epoxy resin, hardener, mixing cups, stir sticks
- Pigments (blue, white, turquoise), mica powder, alcohol ink
- Real sand, mini shells, dried seaweed, mini starfish
• Demonstrate layering techniques:
- Creating waves with white ink
- Using heat gun for texture
- Embedding natural elements

Hands-On Resin Tray Creation (1 hr 45 mins)
• Step-by-step guidance while participants:
- Mix resin and pigment colors
- Pour and swirl ocean layers
- Add embellishments and embed pieces
- Use heat tool for bubbles and waves
• Optional: add gold accents or glitter

Curing & Finishing Tips (30 mins)
• Discuss resin curing time and safety
• Share tips for sanding and polishing edges
• Ideas for sealing and using trays

Showcase & Wrap-Up (15 mins)
• Participants display their trays
• Group photo or mini showcase
